The first iPad Mini was a success; the critics loved it and so did the customers. Widely regarded as the little brother of the iPad 4, it came with a lower computing power than the latter, and without a retina display, but at a much better price. At the time of its launch, it was an affordable choice for those who wanted a tablet but weren’t willing to pay the high price of the iPad 4.

iPad Mini 2 is probably going to be released this fall. Apple has just showcased its new operating system, iOS 7, and said it will be available in the fall, and the company is known to release new operating systems with new products.
